Epilepsy and seizures are conditions that atgofamintk the nervous system, causing disruptions in normal brain activity. As believers, we recognize that sickness and affliction are not of God, for His Word declares in Exodus 15:26 that He is the Lord who heals us. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus has come to give us life in abundance (John 10:10).

Epilepsy and seizures may have medical explanations, but we must also recognize that some afflictions have spiritual roots. In Mark 9:17-29, a father brought his epileptic son to Jesus, and the Lord cast out the unclean spirit causing the condition. This teaches us that some ailments are orchestrated by demonic forces and must be confronted with aggressive prayers.

As we pray today, let us hold onto the promises of God, believing that the power of Jesus Christ is greater than any affliction. Let every hidden covenant of sickness be broken, and let the healing virtue of Christ flow into every afflicted body in Jesus’ name.
